Job Title: Oncology Team Lead RNAt US Oncology, Inc, we are seeking an experienced Oncology Team Lead RN to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our nursing and clinical support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our oncology infusion setting.Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the clinical operations for nursing clinical support activities
• Provide staff training and in-service instruction
• Determine staffing requirements and maintain effective nursing staff coverage
• Participate in interviewing and recruiting of nursing personnel
• Assist with the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures
• Verify correct coding and charge capture
• Assist with annual performance evaluations of nursing and clinical staff
• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care
• Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician
• Program portable infusion pumps for continuous drug delivery
• Assess health status and collect and record nursing assessment and interventions
• Review and report results of health status assessment and physical examination
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families
• Maintain patient confidentialityRequirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience
  • One year of supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred
  • Oncology experience is strongly preferred
