Job Description:
A company is looking for a Compliance Counsel, EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance on economic sanctions and export controls
compliance for the company and its joint ventures
Advise on regulatory requirements related to digital payments and
anti-money laundering (AML) compliance
Conduct internal investigations related to potential compliance
violations and provide recommendations
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent
degree
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum 3 years of legal experience focused on economic sanctions
or export controls compliance
Experience with compliance programs and risk mitigation
Willingness to obtain CCEP, CCEP-I certifications is a plus
